Word
We’re used to the funny things that Word does. We know all about the fact that Word isn’t InDesign, and how to get Word to follow the guidelines you spent so much of your time developing.
Word is a very powerful word processor, and offers features that allow for some very effective page layout. But there is an added interactive quality to Word templates that is not required in normal, paper-based, stationery.
Without the necessary experience, or training, a designer’s principle thought is putting ink on paper. Obviously, this misses the fact that a Word document is a bit more flexible than a piece of paper and a pencil. A printed sheet doesn’t do things all by itself either!
